“A Story of Violence Transformed by Confidence” presents a real-life journey of courage, self-belief, and gradual positive change. It shows how confidence, support, and trust in one’s own abilities can help a person overcome adversity, rebuild identity, and move toward a safer and more hopeful future.

This video highlights the struggle and strength of women living in disaster-prone and climate-vulnerable areas of Bangladesh, where climate change increases the risks of insecurity, displacement, and gender-based violence. Through resilience, awareness, and access to support services, women and adolescent girls are finding new ways to cope, adapt, and transform their lives.

The video was produced as part of the project “Enhancing Climate Resilience for Women and Girls by Strengthening Coping, Adaptive, and Transformative Capacities to Address Climate-Induced GBV Risks and Ensure Access to Multi-Sectoral GBV Response Services in High-Risk Disaster-Prone Districts of Bangladesh.”

ভাঙন, অনিশ্চয়তা এবং প্রতিকূলতার মধ্যেও মানুষের ঘুরে দাঁড়ানোর শক্তি কখনো থেমে থাকে না। “আত্মবিশ্বাসে বদলে যাওয়া সহিংসতার গল্প” এমনই এক বাস্তব জীবনের গল্প, যেখানে উঠে এসেছে সাহস, আত্মবিশ্বাস এবং নিজের সক্ষমতার প্রতি আস্থার শক্তি।

এই ভিডিওতে দেখানো হয়েছে কীভাবে প্রতিকূলতার অন্ধকার পেরিয়ে একজন মানুষ ধীরে ধীরে নতুন সম্ভাবনার পথে এগিয়ে যেতে পারেন। আত্মবিশ্বাস, সহায়তা এবং নিজের জীবনের সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়ার ক্ষমতা একজন নারীকে সহিংসতা, অনিশ্চয়তা ও অসহায়ত্ব থেকে বেরিয়ে এসে নতুনভাবে জীবন গড়ার শক্তি দিতে পারে।

বাংলাদেশের দুর্যোগপ্রবণ ও জলবায়ু ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ এলাকাগুলোতে নারী ও কিশোরীরা প্রায়ই জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন, বাস্তুচ্যুতি, অনিশ্চয়তা এবং জেন্ডারভিত্তিক সহিংসতার ঝুঁকির মুখোমুখি হন। এই প্রেক্ষাপটে তাদের সহনশীলতা, সক্ষমতা এবং বহুমুখী জিবিভি প্রতিক্রিয়া সেবায় প্রবেশগম্যতা নিশ্চিত করা অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
